Platinum RTDs Replace Wire-Wound Counterparts

product pic

The FX series thin-film, platinum RTDs are claimed to combine the ideal curve characteristics of ceramic wire-wound RTDs with the vibration resistance of glass wire-wounds to provide an alternative to wire-wound RTDs. The series is characterized by long-term stability, resistance to shock and vibration, and a wide temperature range from -196°C to 500°C and self-heating of 1 K/mW at 0°C. Long-term stability with a maximum deviation of 0.03% after 1,000 hours is 0.03%. Vibration resistance is up to 40-g acceleration at 10 Hz to 2 kHz and shock resistance is up to 100-g acceleration with an 8-ms half sine wave.
