Power Connection System Is Shrouded

The company's Power Connection System products now include a safety shroud feature. The male contacts are shrouded for safety against contact with high voltage when the connector system is disconnected. The safety shroud helps provide a high reliability connector with integral locking system.
The firm's Power Connection System products offer many contact variants, termination styles, and accessories. Now available are options that include size 12 contacts that are capable of supporting 40A per contact and are hot-pluggable to 25A per contact at 250 Vac. The connectors have a large mating surface area. And the three contact variant of the interconnect system is suited as an ac or dc input connector.
