Rechargeable Li Batteries Can Carry Custom Voltages

March 1, 2000

A building-block design allows the Relion line of lithium ion polymer batteries to be custom configured into various voltages and capacities for military, aerospace, underwater research, and other applications. The building-block design consists of thin profile cells, about the size of a credit card, that employ a patented lithium ion solid polymer rechargeable technology. Capable of stacking cells to achieve voltages from 4.2 vdc to 1000+ vdc, with up to 3.5Ahr capacity and 1000 charge/discharge cycles, the batteries exhibit no memory effect and very low self-discharge rates. Engineered to customer requirements, the batteries can incorporate positive and negative tabs or window terminals. Call for pricing.
