By integrating its portfolio of standard rad-hard components with space-qualified circuit card assembly technology, the company has produced a mass data storage card that is said to be ready for use by designers of space systems. At the heart of the UT102 Memory Card is an array of QML T-qualified 16M SRAM multi-chip modules (MCMs), each integrating four 4M memory die.
Typical radiation performance of the memory card is 10k to 30k rads(Si), while the interface implementation provides for a cold-spare at the card level. The card is available for operation at 3.3V or 5V and offers an asynchronous capability for facilitating compatibility to many data bus architectures.
