Signal Generators Offer Extended Range

Jan. 1, 1999

Meeting customer requirements for low-phase-noise signal generators, the Models 2023 A/B and 2025 (see photo) signal sources are aimed at receiver and component testing in a wide range of environments. All are compact, portable, lightweight units and offer carrier frequencies of from 9 kHz to 1.2 GHz (2023A), 9 kHz to 2.05 GHz (2023B), and 9 kHz to 2.51 GHz (2025) with a large number of modulation modes.Options include high-power and fast-pulse modulators to tailor the generators to specific requirements. The 2025 is an economical signal generator for use as a local oscillator substitute in LEO and MEO satcom personal communication systems.
