Small Brushless DC Blower Delivers Strong Cooling Punch

July 1, 1999

Effective cooling power for shrinking enclosures is provided by the Biscuit brushless dc blower. The unit is said to offer high-pressure airflow within tight spaces, such as in RAID drives, power supplies, and small 1U rack-mount applications. Measuring 4.74" square x 1.22" deep, the blower weighs just 10 oz. and delivers airflow from 18 to 28 cfm with minimal audible noise. Units are available with the firm’s ThermaPro-V technology, which automatically adjusts airflow based on current temperature needs, minimizing power consumption and noise.
