Source Meter At Home In Testing TEC Portion Of LDMs

The Model 2510 TEC Source Meter is designed for testing and control of the thermoelectric cooler (TEC) portion of Laser Diode Modules (LDMs) used in fiber-optic telecomm applications. The Model 2510 provides a best of class combination of source, measurement and temperature control capabilities previously unavailable among other TEC controllers. This model offers a 50W source, a software-based digital PID (proportional-integral-differential) temperature control loop, support for many types and values of temperature sensors, an ohms function, and can be used in a light intensity-current-voltage test system.
