Static Monitors Ground Workers And Equipment

Dec. 1, 2002

Paired with two 791WR wrist straps, the 791W voltage wrist-strap monitor grounds and monitors two workers by comparing the voltage on them to one of four selectable internal voltage levels. Audible and visual alarms that are unique to each user indicate when the voltage readings exceed the preset. The 791E equipment ground monitor employs three channels to continuously measure ground connections of both manufacturing equipment and ESD work surfaces. It can measure resistances from 1? minimum to 35 M? maximum. Like the 791W, the 791E comes in a stainless-steel case suitable for use in clean-room applications.
