Synchro Converters Drive Torque Receivers

This new line of sine/cosine synchro-to-resolver converters can drive up to three torque receivers with accuracy or ±15 min. of arc. The devices are packaged on a 4.5" x 9.25" PC card and will accept up to ±100 vdc input and convert it to 11.8V or 90V, 400 Hz or 90V, or to 60 Hz synchro or resolver outputs. Maximum output power is 7A. The converters have transformer-isolated outputs and are both short circuit protected and current limited. Designated as part number DCS402, the device requires a 26V or 115V, 400 Hz, reference input and ±15 Vdc at 115 mA. Operating temperature ranges are 0°C to 70°C and -55°C to +85°C. Pricing for the converters in production quantities is $395.00 each, with a delivery time of four weeks ARO.
