Temperature Sensor Is Accurate, Waterproof

June 1, 2001

Housed in a rugged flat package that easily mounts to any surface, the Model S667 Thermal Tab RTD temperature sensor is sealed against moisture for wet environments or immersion in water. Time response is reported as being less than two seconds. Applications include temperature compensation in instruments, chiller and duct measurements in HVAC systems, environmental test chambers, and food service equipment or machinery exposed to moisture or washdown.
The 5.0 x 16.0 x 3.0 mm sensor is rated to 155°C and has a silicone rubber insulated body and AWG 26 lead wires for ease of installation. It can be mounted to flat or curved surfaces with peel-and-stick or with epoxy or RTV cement.
