A new series of thin-film-on-silicon terminator and filter networks have been developed for use in eliminating transmission line effects generated by fast edge-rated clock signals. These signal effects can result in undesired wave reflections and ringing within the application, with the new CR(X) series of networks designed to perform their filtering activities at the source of the emission with effective high-frequency termination. The low-profile, surface-mount networks are described as reliable and stable. Their resistance range is 10 ohms to 1 Megaohm; capacitance range is 10 pF to 180 pF. Standard resistance and capacitance tolerances are ±10% and ±20%, respectively. Body style options include SOT-23 and SOT-143.
