Transformer Reduces Cost Of Power Apps

May 1, 2000

A new TSF splitform transformer series can reduce the cost of power applications requiring UL-1585 Class 2 or Class 3 transformers. The series has high isolation, low capacitive coupling and precision-spaced terminals and is said to be excellent for minimizing line noise and false triggers. Secondary voltages range from 5 to 28 vac in parallel and from 10 to 56 vac CT in series. TSF dimensions are 30.0 mm (W) by 36.0 mm (L) by 25.0 mm (H). The components are wound on splitform nylon bobbins with either six or eight pins. Hipot rating is 2500 vrms. Prices range from $6.15 to $8.50 each/2500.
