Unit Touts Clock & Data Recovery Functi¿ns

Feb. 1, 1999

Generation of synchronous trigger signals for eye-pattern mask testing and recovery of clock and data streams for bit error ratio testing are two key applications for which the Model 510A AnyRate universal clock and data recovery unit (UCDR) is said to be particularly well suited.Combining complete clock and data recovery functions in a single package, the unit can accommodate all SONET and SDH rates, Fibre Channel rates, and any other arbitrary scrambled NRZ data rates extending from 50 to 2500 Mb/s. Acquisition of SONET, SDH and PRBS signals is completely automatic. AnyRate has a wide input range (typically 10 to 500 mVpp) and is CSA-certified and CE mark-compliant.
