Three new e Verification Components (eVCs)—reusable plug-and-play verification components for standard protocols and interfaces—are available for the AT Attachment Packet Interface (ATAPI), Controller Area Network (CAN), and the Open Core Protocol (OCP) standards. An eVC consists of a complete verification environment, including test generation, assertion checking and monitoring, and functional coverage scenarios. The CAN and OCP eVCs comply with Verisity's e Reuse Methodology (eRM). The ATAPI eVC will be eRM-compliant by the third quarter of 2003. The eVCs cost $11,271 each for a yearly license.
