Y-Connection Links Valve Status Monitor And Solenoid

Nov. 1, 2000

A new Integral Y-Connection that connects the company's Series 52 valve status monitor with a DIN solenoid represents a simplification of sensor and solenoid wiring. The single point of attachment reduces field wiring time and allows for quick repair and replacement, it's claimed. The connection can be wired to a remote electrical junction box by either cordset, extension cord, or conduit adapter and conduit. The connection is for 20 vac to 120 vac with common wiring of the live connection. Other Y-Connections offered are for 220 vac, 24 vdc or intrinsically safe applications with either common or isolated wiring connections. Additionally, the company can supply a Series 52 solenoid and pneumatic actuator as a completely assembled system.
