Available with two to seven optical passes and a combination of single- or multi-mode fibers, the FO-5704 is a multi-pass fiber optic rotary joint that allows optical signals to pass from a stationary structure to a rotating mechanism in a fiber optic system. It is a small, fully bi-directional unit that allows light transmission in both directions simultaneously. The physical dimensions of the product remain the same regardless of the number of channels selected. Typical applications include robotics, medical systems, milling machines, and cable reels.
