Vivek Nigam received his B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati in 2000 and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006. Since 2006, he has been working on audio algorithms and system architectures in the consumer electronics domain. Nigam joined Maxim Integrated in 2011, where he leads and mentors a software team designing products for audio playback, haptics, active noise control, and hearables.
