Alex Guichard is the VP of Product Marketing at Phononic Inc., where he runs the optoelectronics vertical of the company. His goal is to create something truly new and disruptive in the industry, and he does so through creative data-driven decisions and strategic product positioning.
Previously, Alex was a Senior Product Engineer at Cree Inc., where he owned a line of flagship, lighting-class LED chip products. He was also employee #9 and a Senior Research Scientist at the solar-cell manufacturing startup SpectraWatt. He received his MS and PhD from Stanford University and his BS from North Carolina State University.
