Andrew McLean received a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the University of the West of Scotland and studied for an M.Sc. in Digital Techniques at Herriot-Watt University. He has more than 30 years of experience in building and leading global teams to develop successful solutions for customers in telecom, data-center, video processing, industrial, and automotive applications.
He joined ADI in 2019 as the General Manager for Automotive Infotainment products after more than 25 years in engineering and senior management roles with National Semiconductor and Texas Instruments. At ADI, Andy is responsible for a large portfolio of DSP and connectivity products targeted at automotive applications and other growth markets. He’s a U.S. patent holder and earned a technical Emmy for HDTV upconversion while at Faroudja Labs.
