The RUGGEDrive memory tokens employ a solid over-molding process whereby a composite plastic protects internal components. Industry-standard protocols (USB 2.0, SDHC/SPI), allow for integration into embedded controllers, single board computers, and industrial PCs. RUGGEDrive memory tokens interface solely with the company’s mating receptacles via a unique physical connection that ensures data on tokens cannot transfer to unauthorized PCs lacking RUGGEDrive receptacles. Additionally, lifespan for RUGGEDrive receptacles is 50,000 cycles. The RUGGEDrive line features two families of memory devices. The UFX memory token provides USB flash drive functionality, and the DFX memory token provides SD card functionality.
