Suitable for driving 16-bit A/D converters (ADCs), the OPA725 single and OPA726 dual 12V CMOS op amps use a proprietary output stage to achieve a 20 MHz bandwidth, said to make them the industryÕs fastest. According to the company, the devices also employ unique circuit design techniques to achieve best-in-class AC performance levels. These include a 30 V/µs slew rate, 6 nV/rtHz noise figure, 0.0003% harmonic distortion, 16-bit settling time of 600 ns, and bias currents of less than 200 pA. Other features include a CMR of greater than 94 dB and a PSR and AOL in excess of 110 dB. Operating on voltages from 4V to 12V, both devices are specified for operation from -40°C to 125°C. The OPA725 comes in SOT23-5 and SO-8 packages and the OPA2726 is available in an MSOP-10. Price is $0.85 each/1,000. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INC., Dallas, TX. (800) 477-8924.
