A 350V monolithic die housed in an industry-standard 24-pin SMT SOP, the PA44 offers a 40% savings when compared with firm's PA41. The PA44 is compatible with automatic insertion equipment and can be soldered directly to boards or heat sinks.

A 350V monolithic die housed in an industry-standard 24-pin SMT SOP, the PA44 offers a 40% savings when compared with firm's PA41. The PA44 op-amp is compatible with automatic insertion equipment and can be soldered directly to boards or heat sinks. Dimensions are 0.60" long x 0.55" wide. An exposed copper heat slug extends along the backside of the package. Internally, the PA44 die is mounted directly to the slug for thermal performance of 12W dissipation at 25°C. Providing 120 mA of output current on a 350V supply while exhibiting 2 mA of quiescent current, freedom from secondary breakdown is provided by the MOSFET output stage with a safe operating area of more than 175V.
