Debuting in 6- and 8-lead MSOPs measuring 3 mm x 3 mm, the AD727x family of 12-, 10-, and 8-bit a/d converters delivers throughput rates up to 3 Msamples/s and 1 LSB maximum INL. They operate from a single 2.35V to 3.6V supply with a power dissipation

Debuting in 6- and 8-lead MSOPs measuring 3 mm x 3 mm, the AD727x family of 12-, 10-, and 8-bit a/d converters delivers throughput rates up to 3 Msamples/s and 1 LSB maximum INL. They operate from a single 2.35V to 3.6V supply with a power dissipation of 8 mW at the maximum sampling rate. The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using chip select and the serial clock, allowing the devices to interface with microprocessors or digital-signal processors. Other features include integrated track/hold amplifiers and, for painless upgrades, the devices are pin-compatible with the company's existing line of SOT-23 and MSOP AD747x converters. Prices range from $3.60 to $6.50 each/1,000. For further information, call ANALOG DEVICES INC., Norwood, MA. (800) 262-5643.
