Analog Switches Keep On-Resistance At Bay

July 7, 2011
With a 0.6O maximum on resistance at 2.7V the company’s dual SPDT and DPDT CMOS analog switches combine low-voltage operation and low on-resistance in small miniQFN packages.

With a 0.6Ω maximum on resistance at 2.7V the company’s dual SPDT and DPDT CMOS analog switches combine low-voltage operation and low on-resistance in small miniQFN packages. The DG2735A and DG2725 are dual SPDT switches in the miniQFN10 package with an operating range of 1.65V to 4.3V. Turn-on time is 64 ns and turn-off time is 42 ns at 2.7V. The DG2725 offers a typical on-resistance of 0.7Ω at 3V. The DG2599 has an operation voltage range of 1.65V to 5V and can be used as a quad SPDT or dual DPDT switch. The device features the miniQFN16 package, on-resistance of 2.8Ω typical at 3V, and a -3 dB bandwidth to 186 MHz. Both the DG2725 and DG2599 feature power off protection. Prices for the DG2725, DG2735A, and DG2599 are $0.27, $0.31, and $0.40 each/1,000, respectively. VISHAY INTERTECHNOLOGY, INC., Malvern, PA. (619) 336-0860.
