Offering what's claimed as the industry's widest impedance and attenuation range, the thick-film CZA Series of surface-mount chip attenuators is designed to provide improved attenuation in a single device as compared to three or more discrete resistors. Other key benefits include lower overall component costs and board space and weight savings. Designed to provide a specific impedance and attenuation in an unbalanced pi-type configuration, the series can be used for signal attenuation in the RF section in cell phones and wireless information appliances and in a range of applications in automotive and consumer entertainment systems. Attenuation values range from 0.5 dB to 20 dB, attenuation tolerances range from ±0.3 to ±1.6 dB, temperature coefficient of resistance is ±100 ppm/°C, and max. VSWR IS 1.2. And max. input power options include the 40 mW CZA04S and 75 mW CZA06S. Samples are available.
