A sibling within the AD92xx family of dual a/d converters, the AD9248, is self titled as the first dual 14-bit device available in a single 9 mm x 9 mm CSP. The device supports sampling rates from 20 to 65 Msamples/s with a power consumption of 300 mW

A sibling within the AD92xx family of dual a/d converters, the AD9248, is self titled as the first dual 14-bit device available in a single 9 mm x 9 mm CSP. The device supports sampling rates from 20 to 65 Msamples/s with a power consumption of 300 mW per channel at 65 Msamples/s. Another family member, the AD9238, is a 12-bit dual converter offering the same sample rates and power consumption as the AD9248. A third member, the AD9216, is a 10-bit dual device that operates at speeds ranging from 65 to 105 Msamples/s with a power consumption of 150 mW per channel at the maximum sample rate. Shared features of the family include dual sample-and-hold amplifiers, integrated voltage references, multi-stage differential pipeline architectures with error-correction logic, and an operating temperature range of –40°C to +85°C up to their maximum sample rates. Pricing for the AD9216, AD9238, and AD9248 begins at $9.25, $13.15, and $22.95 each/1,000, respectively. ANALOG DEVICES INC., Wilmington, MA. (800) 262-5642
