ESD Chip Dedicated For DisplayPort

April 21, 2010
The DPIULC6-6DJL provides optimized the protection to meet the different needs of the main and auxiliary data channels defined in the DisplayPort

Taking position as the industry’s first integrated ESD protection IC dedicated to the DisplayPort interface, the DPIULC6-6DJL provides optimized the protection to meet the different needs of the main and auxiliary data channels defined in the DisplayPort Vesa 1.1a standard. Notably, the device is effectively transparent to the high-speed data signals and allows them to pass virtually undistorted at the highest possible speed and power. Features include a 5-GHz bandwidth, 100? ± 10% characteristic impedance, and a capacitance of less than 1.5 pF. Available in a 5 mm x 6 mm leadless QFN, pricing starts at $0.30 each/3,000. STMICROELECTRONICS, Lexington, MA. (888) 787-3550.
