Hall ICs Offer Bi- Or Uni-Polar Detection

Dec. 13, 2010
The company’s latest Hall effect sensor ICs offer bipolar or uni-polar detection and high sensitivity.

The company’s latest Hall effect sensor ICs offer bipolar or uni-polar detection and high sensitivity. The output voltage changes when the Hall device detects the intensity level of flux density and a change in polarity. High-density mounting is possible by using the small SOT-23-3 or SNT-4A packages. Other features include integrated chopper-stabilized amplifiers, detection of South or North pole, operating voltage range from 2.4V to 5.5V, maximum current consumption of 120 µA, and an operating temperature range from −40°C to +85°C. Pricing for all series is $0.23 each/10,000. SEIKO INSTRUMENTS USA INC., Torrance, CA. (310) 517-7771.
