High-Voltage Diodes Recover At Ultra-Fast Pace

June 1, 2003
New high-voltage power diodes have been developed that shave 10 ns from recovery times compared to the company's existing devices. The UX-FOB diodes offer up to 8 kV of peak reverse voltage with a 12V maximum forward voltage drop versus 14V

New high-voltage power diodes have been developed that shave 10 ns from recovery times compared to the company's existing devices. The UX-FOB diodes offer up to 8 kV of peak reverse voltage with a 12V maximum forward voltage drop versus 14V previously. Maximum average forward current is 500 mA. The power diodes are targeted for use in high frequency applications. For further information, contact Rich Gibbons at HV COMPONENT ASSOCIATES, Farmingdale, NJ. (724) 479-3533.
