MDMs Pair Transistors And Schottkys

Oct. 8, 2008
Called multi-discrete modules (MDMs), the CMLM0405 and CMLM0605 combine a 60V NPN and PNP transistor, respectively, with a 0.5A low-VF Schottky diode in single SOT-563 packages. With a low profileunder 0.6 mm, the devices require 65% lss circuit board

Called multi-discrete modules (MDMs), the CMLM0405 and CMLM0605 combine a 60V NPN and PNP transistor, respectively, with a 0.5A low-VF Schottky diode in single SOT-563 packages. With a low profileunder 0.6 mm, the devices require 65% lss circuit board space when compared to a combination of an SOT-523 transistor and an SOD-523 Schottky diode. Target applications include motor control and dc/dcconversion. Both devices are available either in bulk or on tape and reel. Pricing for each is $0.14 each/3,000.
