Op Amps Boost Precision While Saving Space

Dec. 12, 2011
Claiming to deliver the industry’s lowest input-offset voltage, the TSV85x and LMV82x families of low-power operational amplifiers upgrade the industry-standard (LMV321) in signal-conditioning applications.

Claiming to deliver the industry’s lowest input-offset voltage in the smallest footprint available, the TSV85x and LMV82x families of low-power operational amplifiers upgrade the industry-standard (LMV321) in signal-conditioning applications. Both offer a shut-down pin option that reduces current consumption to zero and operate at 200 mV below zero in common mode. The op amps come in single, dual and quad versions and the dual versions in both families are available in 2 mm x 2 mm. Pricing ranges from $0.33 to $0.57 (TSV85x) and $0.39 to $0.86 (LMV82x) each/1,000. STMICROELECTRONICS, Lexington, MA. (888) 787-3550.
