Heralded as the lowest power consumption operational amplifiers available on the market, the S-8944xA and S-891xxA series vie for position in cellular phones, PDAs, MP3 players, notebook PCs, digital cameras, and other portable devices. Both ICs eliminate external parts via internal phase compensation. The S-8944xA series is a CMOS amplifier that features rail-to-rail input and output, 0.9 V operation, and a maximum current consumption of 0.9 µA. The S-891xxA features an operating voltage from 1.8 to 5.5V, current consumption of 50 µA (S-89110ANC) and 10 µA (S-89120ANC). The S-8944xA and S-891xxA cost $0.80 and $0.60 each /1,000.
