Op Amps Make Very Little Noise, Offer Programmable Current Options

Dec. 1, 2001
The single LT1815, dual LT1816 and quad LT1817 op amps feature a programmable current option, a noise figure of 6 nV/Hz1/2, and a THD of -70 dB at AV = 2, F = 5MHz, VOUT = 2 Vp-p, and RL = 500½. The amplifiers have a bandwidth of 220 MHz, are

The single LT1815, dual LT1816 and quad LT1817 op amps feature a programmable current option, a noise figure of 6 nV/Hz1/2, and a THD of -70 dB at AV = 2, F = 5MHz, VOUT = 2 Vp-p, and RL = 500½. The amplifiers have a bandwidth of 220 MHz, are unity-gain stable, and provide a slew rate of 1.5 kV/µs. And input voltage ranges that extend to 800 mV from the rails and an output-voltage swing to within 900 mV of the supply voltage. Current draw is 7.8 mA maximum per amplifier-i.e., 7.8 mA for LT1815, 15.6 mA for LT1816, and 31.2 mA for LT1817. Users can specify either a 0¡C to 70¡C or -40¡C to 85¡C temperature range devices. Package options include a 5- and 6-lead SOT-23 for LT1815, 8- and 10-lead MSOP and 8-lead SOIC for LT1816, and 16-lead SSOP and 14-lead SOIC for LT1817. LINEAR TECHNOLOGY CORP., Milpitas, CA.
