APEC 2010 - The company’s latest family of high-efficiency power rectifiers will reportedly help OEMs achieve energy-efficiency approvals such as 80 PLUSR. The first member of the troupe, the STPS50U100C ultra-low forward voltage (ULVFT) Schottky rectifier diode, can be used in the output of power supplies. Features include a typical forward-voltage drop of 0.64V at 25A (0.38V at 5A), maximum leakage current of 200 µA, maximum average forward current of 50A, repetitive peak reverse voltage of 100V, surge non-repetitive forward current of 250A, and a maximum junction temperature of 150°C. Available in TO-220 (STPS50U100CT) and I2PAK (STPS50U100CR) packages, respectively, prices start from $1.50 each/1,000. STMICROELECTRONICS, Lexington, MA. (888) 787-3550.
