RF Switches Lower Design Costs

Dec. 29, 2009
RF Switches Lower Design Costs
Targeting cost sensitive designs, the uPG2406 and uPG2408 RF switches emerge as medium-power, low-insertion-loss, single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switches. Apps include cell phones, smart phones, Wi-Fi client devices, 802.15.4/ZigBee, NFC, and Bluetooth. Specs include a bandwidth from 10 MHz to 3 GHz, operating voltage from 1.8V to 5.3V, an insertion loss of 0.4 dB typical at f=1 GHz or 0.5 dB typical at f=2.5 GHz, and an isolation of 18 dB typical at f=2.5 GHz. Prices for the uPG2406T6R, uPG2406TK, and uPG2408TK are $0.26, $0.24, and $0.24 each/100,000, respectively. CALIFORNIA EASTERN LABORATORIES, Santa Clara, CA. (408) 988-3500.
