The MAX2136 digital terrestrial television tuner promises to improve ISDB-T and DVB-T signal reception. The device specifies a noise figure of 3.8 dB while consuming 210 mW. Additionally, the tuner supports the reception of signals as large as 10 dBm while maintaining a sensitivity of -99 dBm. On-chip tracking filters, low-pass filters, and LNAs eliminate the need for external components. Available in a 32-pin, 5 mm x 5 mm TQFN package, pricing starts at $4 each/1,000.
