Recently, Emerson & Cuming Microwave Products, Inc. announced the achievement of ISO 9001:2000 certification. This certification is considered to be the highest international standard for measuring a company's Quality Management Principles. ISO 9001:2000 is built around several quality objectives and procedures that put greater emphasis on measuring customer satisfaction, monitoring company procedures for continual improvements, setting standards, and monitoring performance targets within individual departments.

This ISO 9001:2000 certification applies to all of the company's product lines, including the ECCOSORB microwave absorbing materials and anechoic chambers; the ECCOSTOCK dielectric materials for low-loss RF and microwave applications; and the ECCOSHIELD electrically conductive sheets, caulks, adhesives, and coatings. Additionally, certification applies to ECCOLENS, the company's new patented technology for custom passive-reflector lenses and antennas.
