Ac-Dc Converter Runs Off One Supply

    This circuit converts a 90-mV average absolute (100 mV rms for s sinusoid) ac input into a 5-V dc output. Unlike typical ac-dc converters, it does not need a bipolar supply and does not need ac-coupled gain stages.
