The Metcal/OK Tech Center gives users the ability to solder faster at the lowest possible temperatures to minimize the possibility of thermally-induced board or component damage. The rework workstation brings together the firm's SmartHeat soldering tools, including the sleek TALON tweezer-type removal tool, with OK Industries' advanced hot-air rework equipment for larger SMT/BGA devices, as well as a desoldering system for through-hole assemblies. Also included is a two-day training course to teach operators the basic skills needed to operate the center.
