Olivier Ribet joined Dassault Systèmes in September 2013 as Vice President, High-Tech Industry. He then became Vice President Industries in July 2017, overseeing 12 Industries and the cross-industries initiatives on IOT, Robots, Material Science, Cyber Physical Systems, Value Chain, and City business.
In this position, he is responsible for helping companies and organizations worldwide adapt to fast-paced market trends and deliver innovative experiences for their end-customers by using Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform to transform their business processes. He is a frequent speaker in international conferences on digital transformation, IOT, smart products and systems, embedded electronics and software, and IT and communications infrastructures and cloud.
Ribet brings more than 20 years of international experience in the software, high-tech and telecom markets to Dassault Systèmes. During his career, he has led businesses and teams across Europe, North America, and Asia in strategy, product development, software engineering, marketing, and business development.
Prior to joining Dassault Systèmes, Ribet spent more than a decade at Microsoft, where he held senior management positions. While at Microsoft, he was granted a patent for a method of extracting key terms in text mining. Before this, he worked in a number of senior-level sales, marketing, and business development capacities at Bull EMEA Information Systems (a ATOS company) and EDF (Electricité de France).
Ribet is a graduate of the Institute des Etudes Politiques in Bordeaux, France, Institut Multimédias, and INSEAD (AIEP).
