A suite of software tools for the design and analysis of multiple domains within electromechanical systems includes: TransCable, a design capture environment for electromechanical systems; TransDatabook, a parts library management system; TransAnalysis, a suite of signal integrity and electromagnetic analysis products for system-level interconnection problems; and TransServices, a services organization. TransCable is a "correct by construction" wire-based design capture tool that manages electrical signal connectivity through physical components. Targeted at design engineers in the automotive, aerospace, telecom, and computer markets, the tool also drives physical design for manufacturing, provides a framework for analysis and simulation, and allows the automatic generation of manufacturing documentation. TransDatabook is a parts library management system that can be synchronized with a company's corporate-wide parts information system for the purpose of maintaining and updating parts lists.
