SiRF sues Global Locate for patent infringement

Global positioning systems technology provider SiRF Technology, Inc. (www.sirf.com) has filed a patent infringement complaint against Global Locate (www.globallocate.com) and its distributor, Innovation Sales Southern California (www.innovationsc.com).

Global positioning systems technology provider SiRF Technology Inc. has filed a patent infringement complaint against Global Locate and its distributor, Innovation Sales Southern California. The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, alleges infringement of U.S. Patent Nos. 7,091,904; 7,043,363; 6,850,557; and 6,636,178. SiRF is requesting an injunction and monetary damages.
