LMS International has integrated the virtual driver model IPG-Driver from IPG Automotive GmbH into the Virtual.Lab Motion software package. IPG-Driver makes it possible to simulate all types of driving maneuvers, such as the ISO lane change, a drive on the Nürburgring northern loop or a steady-state skid pad test, on which the development of control systems is based. IPG-Driver enables LMS Virtual.Lab Motion, which serves the purpose of simulating mechanical systems, to realistically depict vehicle behavior even under extreme conditions.
