Yazaki North America reassigns executives

Yazaki North America, Inc. (www.yazaki-na.com) has named Nobuhiro Onishi executive vice president, YNA, and president, Transplant Business Unit (TBU).

Yazaki North America Inc. has named Nobuhiro Onishi executive vice president, YNA, and president, Transplant Business Unit (TBU). He was previously assistant to the general manager of the Automotive Planning Division at Yazaki Japan. He also served as an assistant to the general manager of the Toyota business unit in Japan. In his new position at Yazaki North America, Onishi will be responsible for the overall management of all program support to Japanese automakers in the Americas.

The firm also named Bob Crumley executive vice president of technology, engineering, and advanced development, and Bryan Jinnett as executive vice president, operations & quality.

Prior to joining Yazaki North America in 2005, Crumley was CEO of SY Systems Technology America, a Siemens VDO and Yazaki joint venture. Jinnett previously held executive positions at Bosch and Johnson Controls prior to joining Yazaki.
