Five Flavours Of Wireless Come In One Package

Hoofddorp, Netherlands: Wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) support, plus an FM radio receiver and GPS receiver, are all included in Murata’s LBEL6Z2TXC wireless combination module. Combining the five wireless functions into a single package saves board space in addition to easing the burden of procurement.

The device, aimed at the automotive sector thanks to its AEC-Q100-compliant chipset, measures 24.6mm by 18.0mm by 3.0mm. Applications include car infotainment, parking assistance, telematics, driver assist, and Internet-in-the-car.

The WLAN feature complies with IEEE 802.11 b, g, and n, and it supports WiFi Direct. Bluetooth 4.0 class-2-compliant support and H4 protocol come standard. The modules also are pre-qualified.

Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. Module interfaces include UART, PCM, SDIO, I2S and audio. Power requirements are +3.3V dc and +1.8V dc.
