Common Mode Toroidal Chokes

CM6350, CM6460, and CM6560 Series are surface-mount common mode toroidal chokes. Each is a different size and is constructed using a 4-terminal case design that provides a flat surface for pick-and-place equipment. The terminals guarantee excellent coplanarity for mounting to printed circuit boards. Internal construction uses a high permeability ferrite core suited for common mode applications. Parts are manufactured using a true common mode winding style.

SMT Power Inductors

The LP06013 Series is designed for applications requiring the smallest possible size in a low profile part. They handle up to 1.9A and are only 1.3mm high. Recommended applications include notebook computers, PC cards, cellular phone handsets, and handheld products. Their specially designed ceramic case protects the winding, and their flat top provides the best possible surface for pick-and-place handling.

Surface-Mount Inductor

The CWS-2065 Series of low-cost 50A surface-mount inductors is for the high-frequency dc-dc converter market, next-generation microprocessor based systems, energy storage applications, and computers. They use a low loss planar flat helix winding made of thick flat helix coils with large cross sectional area to reduce the DCR and parasitic inductances. Their operating temperature rating is -40°C to 125°C, and inductance is 1 µH. Inductance ranges up to 5 µH are also available. These inductors are suited for frequencies above 200 Khz to 1 Mhz with a dc resistance of 0.8 mΩ. Dimensions are 1 in. × 1.1 in. with a height of 0.415 in.

SMD Inductors

The DR349 Series SMD inductors feature low seated profiles from 0.095 in. (2.4 mm) max to 0.198 in. (5.3 mm) max above the circuit board and operate over the temperature range of -20°C to 80°C. They combine high-performance and rugged dependability for high-frequency filter applications. They also offer an inductance range from 10 µH to 220 µH, a resistance of 0.13Ω to 21Ω maximum and a maximum rated current from 50mA to 1800mA.

SMT High Current Inductors

LP03 Series low-profile, 4.5 mm inductors are for high current output choke applications. They provide much higher current densities than competitive products. The use of distributed gap material provides a softer roll off of inductance at saturation and is more efficient in today's high dc bias environments. Applications include high current dc-dc or ac-dc power supplies, distributed power systems in telecom networks, and servers. They are available in 15 inductance values ranging from 0.10 µH to 11 µH and have saturation currents over 100A. Rated for operation top for pick-and- place manufacturing.

Low-Profile Inductors

Coiltronics® FP3 (Flat Pac 3) low-profile inductors have a variety of high current applications (up to 34.7Adc) in computers, telecom equipment, and portable power devices. Their 3-mm height combined with very low DCR make them ideal for use in VRM modules. Nine part numbers are available in inductance ratings from 0.1 uh to 4.7 uh, with operating frequencies up to 5 MHz. They have a broad operating ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, application specific, and are available in tape and reel (1,700 parts per reel) packaging.
