Equipto Electronics' new N6 heavy-duty NEMA Type 6 enclosure is especially designed and constructed to protect electronic equipment in military shipboard applications and other situations where sensitive equipment must be protected from hostile environments.

Because of its ruggedness and flexible design, the N6 has been enlisted by the US Navy, on-board the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford. The N6 goes well beyond the performance ratings for NEMA Type 6 enclosures, and handles the most strenuous shock and vibration conditions, equal to other enclosures in Equipto's popular Heavy Duty Series of enclosure systems. Heavy Duty cabinets allow you to safely place your systems into virtually any operating environment. Built for either indoor or outdoor use, the N6 can be built to match custom-sizing requirements.

The new Equipto enclosure meets MIL-STD-167-1 (Mechanical vibrations of shipboard equipment), MIL-STD-901D (Shock, Heavy Weight Grade A, Class II) MIL-STD-461E (EMI shielding, CE 102, CS 101, CS114, CS 116, RE 101, RS 101 and RS 103) MIL-STD-810G.

Constructed of 14 gauge steel with a durable epoxy painted surface, in choice of colors, the N6 is fully EMI/RFI shielded and built to protect critical electronics in any weather conditions. Prices start at $500.
