Vishay Semiconductors VOMHA43A is an automotive‑grade optocoupler that integrates a GaAlAs infrared LED with an optically coupled photodetector and a high‑speed transistor. The photodetector is junction‑isolated from the transistor to minimize Miller capacitance effects, enhancing switching performance. With an open‑collector output, the Vishay VOMHA43A coupler allows engineers to easily tailor load conditions to suit various logic families, including TTL and CMOS. A built‑in Faraday shield on the detector chip provides excellent rejection of high common‑mode transient voltages, ensuring reliable signal integrity in electrically noisy environments.
