The 12.1" diagonal unit is dimmable from 2000 to 400 Cd/m2 (nits) and is touted as the brightest LCD panel available.A beneficial side effect of the firm’s high-brightness backlight technology is an increase in viewing angle to about 140°. Applications include ATM machines, public information displays and kiosks, gas pumps, marine displays, transportation displays, and other outdoor point-of-information uses. The panel offers clear images across all ambient lighting conditions from darkness to direct sun. Its field-serviceable backlight provides extended life and ease of maintenance. Also featured is fast response of less than 25 ms for viewing full-motion video without smearing.
