With the touch of a button on the E3X-DA digital fiber-optic amplifier, users select from among three setting modes- digital incident, digital percentage or analog levels. Measuring only 32.5 mm x 10 mm x 61 mm, the sensor displays information in large, clear 6-mm characters. The series is available in NPN or PNP versions and with or without analog output, making it a highly versatile sensing tool. Features include a choice of four teaching methods, a hyper-flashing function that sets the sensor's emitter to flash red for 10 minutes to ensure easy optical axis alignment, and a "peak hold" or "bottom hold" display that holds and displays a set of value for two seconds. The three setting modes enable users to choose the ratio of response speed to sensing distance that best suits each application.
